EN ISO 11612

Standard for clothing providing protection against heat and flame. Mandatory in welding, casting, and metallurgy sectors.

EN ISO 20471

Standard for high-visibility warning clothing. Used in road works, logistics, and night operations.

EN 343

Standard for protection against bad weather conditions. Determines waterproofness and breathability levels.

EN 1149

Antistatic protection standard. Used in explosive environments and the electronics industry.

Types of Protective Clothing

Flame Retardant Clothing

Flame retardant clothing used in welding, metallurgy, and petrochemical sectors is made from fabrics that do not burn or melt during brief flame contact.

Chemical Protective Clothing

Creates a barrier against chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, and solvents. Classified from Type 3 to Type 6.

High-Visibility Clothing

Manufactured using fluorescent colors and reflective strips. There are three visibility levels: Class 1, 2, and 3.

Important: Protective clothing must not only be correctly selected but also regularly maintained and immediately replaced when damaged. Every wash must be done according to care instructions.

Under the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, employers are obligated to provide employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Failure to fulfill this obligation results in serious administrative fines.
