Producing workwear for tough conditions is not just about using thick fabrics. Weight, moisture management, freedom of movement, and resistance to repeated washing must be considered together.

Field workers face three fundamental challenges: temperature shifts, mechanical abrasion, and a form loss akin to metal fatigue over time. In Altun Tekstil's workshops we address each separately. For thermal insulation we use multi-layer inner linings; for mechanical abrasion we use reinforced shoulder/knee zones and high-friction-resistant fabrics; against form loss we produce with pre-shrunk treatment and correct yarn density.

Engineering in the details makes the difference. Small elements — a soft woven band inside the collar, a wind-blocking flap behind the zipper, a reinforcement tape over the seam — significantly extend the product's field life. We focus our manufacturing decisions on these small but decisive details.
